BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Action is the name of the game and boy do we have a homestand for you! The Bakersfield Blaze will be playing their next seven games at home, facing the San Jose Giants and the High Desert Mavericks. Each game from July 23rd to 29th will be jam-packed with activities for fans of all ages. All games have a start time of 7:45 PM with gates opening at 6:45 PM.

The first of the seven games will take place on July 23rd against the San Jose Giants. Pack your wallet with singles and come enjoy another Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser! Dollar beers start with the opening of the gates at 6:45 PM and last until 8:45 PM.

Game number two will feature a Mayor Harvey Hall Bobblehead giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. Additionally, Mayor Hall will be presenting seven players with a cash prize for their home run totals. Generous as he is, Mayor Hall will also be giving 9 lucky fans prizes at the end of every inning. These prizes include a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and a Sony PlayStation 4. Fans may also be treated to an exciting pregame program featuring a helicopter landing! Tickets are selling out fast, be sure not to miss this great night and cool prizes!

As promised, the third game against the San Jose Giants will feature the second of two bobbleheads in two days. On this fine Saturday, Bakersfield College presents the Colby Lewis Bobblehead, honoring the current Texas Rangers pitcher's baseball legacy in Bakersfield.  One dozen lucky fans will receive a signed bobblehead at the door - come early and bring your friends to help your chances! We will also be raffling off a signed Colby Lewis jersey during the 7th inning stretch, so buy your raffle tickets early and often from the staff member walking around! The bobbleheads will also only be available to the first 1,000 fans, so be sure to get your tickets now!

Sunday the 26th is the finale of the Giants series and features free Kids Zone Access courtesy of K-12. Gates open at 6:45 PM and kids are invited to run the bases after the game.

Hyundai Dollar Monday is back on July 27th! Come enjoy some quality baseball with an old-time feel at Sam Lynn Ballpark. Grab some dollar dogs, sit back, relax, and enjoy a game with the whole family.

This homestand features the first Tuesday game since June 16th, and that means the first Scholarhsare $20 Family Tuesday in over a month! Make your way to the ballpark with three other family members and enjoy four tickets in the First Base Upper Reserved Section, four hot dogs, and a program (about a $50 value) for just $20, courtesy of Scholarshare.

The final game of the homestand is an Alianza Nonprofit Wednesday. Bring a piece of e-waste (computers, cell phones, printers, etc.) and receive a free ticket to the game! Dump your waste and pick up a ticket, a win-win for all involved!

Ticket Prices vary by location, General Admission is $7, First Base Upper Reserved is $8, Home Plate Upper Reserved is $9 and Home Plate Lower Reserved and Dugout Lower Reserved are $10. And don't forget about the $12 Cool Zone.

And only available day of game, $10 Picnic Tent tickets. Availability depends on capacity.
