RiverBank, with headquarters in North Andover and branches in Andover, North Andover, Methuen, Lawrence, and Salem New Hampshire have stepped up big this week to participate in the New England Riptide Hit a Home Run for Youth Program.
The Hit a Home Run for Youth program provides a chance for local businesses to reach out to youth, charity and other corporations in their area and introduce them to the fun, enjoyment and electricity of a New England Riptide, National Pro Fastpitch game. RiverBank is participating in the program for all four of this week's games against the Chinese National Team, currently ranked number three in the world. Wednesday will see a group from the Lawrence/Methuen Community Coalition attending, and on Thursday it will be members of the Central Little League of Lawrence. Friday's recipients will be the St. Teresa's Softball League of Methuen and Saturday is RiverBank night at Martin Softball Field where they will be hosting the South Lawrence West Baseball/Softball League in addition to providing a number of other prizes. On Saturday, the Roberto Clemente Baseball League will also be participating in Hit a Home Run for Youth as guests of the Boston Red Sox.
Both RiverBank and the Red Sox have generously purchased many blocks of tickets over the course of the season. Numerous youth, charitable and civic organizations, some of which would be unable to attend otherwise, will have the opportunity to enjoy Riptide games. Groups attending the games as guests of RiverBank, the Red Sox, and other participants have an opportunity to meet and have photos taken with players after the games.
