It's time to get back to football!
The Texas Revolution are back at home Saturday against the rival Amarillo Venom after two weeks off (a bye week and a forfeit win against the now-defunct Dallas Marshals).
At 2-5, the Revs have five games in the next five weeks to prove their worth. Champions Indoor Football (CIF) announced a revised playoff format last week after the folding of Dallas:
The top three seeds from the northern and southern conferences will each clinch playoffs births with the conference champions receiving the number one and number two overall seeds. The remaining two seeds will be awarded to the best overall record of the remaining teams for a total of eight teams qualifying for the playoffs.
This revised playoff format means that the Revs are just a half game back of the No. 8 seed. That's plenty of time to make a playoff push, especially with three of the last five games at home!

Kickoff at Dr Pepper Arena is at 7 p.m. - doors open at 6 p.m.

Revs in the community: Frisco Football League
The Texas Revolution have teamed up with the Frisco Football League for an experience unlike any other. Their draft is Saturday June 9, the same day as our last regular season home game, also against the Amarillo Venom. After the draft, kids will have an opportunity to sit with their new teammates at our game and participate as a community in pre-game high-fives with players. We're happy to support our local youth football players - and there's plenty more getting involved in various promotions including kids from Plano, Little Elm and surrounding areas in the coming weeks.
Thanks to Darius Fudge, DeMario Dixon, Marcel Brooks, Jason Catchings and Dupree Jones who came out on May 5 to FFL Training Camp to help with drills!
