Florida Seals News Release
[CELEBRATION, Fla.] - CBD Development Inc, a real estate development and investment company owned by Florida Seals owner David Waronker, today announced that it has purchased fifty season tickets for to all Seals games for the benefit of Hockey 4 Kids (H4K).
Hockey 4 Kids started in 1998 as a program that provides children's charities the opportunity to experience the excitement and thrill of ice hockey. H4K works closely with the American Cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network, Make a Wish foundation, and other local and national children's program to give economically and physically challenged children the opportunity to experience professional hockey games. H4k has purchased luxury suites and general admission tickets to all Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phantoms, and Trenton Titans games for the past six years. In addition, H4K has offered summer "learn to play" hockey programs for inner city children, providing free ice time, equipment and instructional assistance to hundreds of children.
"I am very happy to be able to provide needy children and their families in Central Florida the opportunity to experience the excitement and thrill of Florida Seals hockey," says Waronker. "It is disturbing to know that there are so many families struggling to make ends meet, and if we can help by giving these special children and their families a fun night out compliments of CBD, H4K and the Seals, everyone is a winner."
The Seals family will go out of their way to host these very special kings and queens at all Seals home games, offering not only a free night of entertainment, but also by providing these children the opportunity to visit the players in the locker room after the game to get autographs, and see what it takes to put on a professional sports event before and after a professional hockey game. K4K will also be buying a bulk of ice at the Silver Spurs Arena to provide residents of Osceola County free instructional learn to play hockey and learn to skate programs. This block of ice will also be dedicated to children or need along with their families.
H4K will be working with all needy children's charities, organizations and programs throughout Central Florida. The H4K program will be organized by the Seals management team, headed by both Gary Unger and Chris LiPuma. If you or your group is interested in participating in the program, the Seals welcome your phone call at 321-939-2465.
Get ready for the home opener Saturday, October 29 at the Silver Spurs Arena. To reserve your season tickets or find out more about partnerships with the Seals call the office at (321) 939-2465 or go to www.floridaseals.com.
