BUFFALO, NY (March 27, 2013) --- The National Lacrosse League today announced that Buffalo Bandits transition player Alexander "Kedoh" Hill has been named NLL "Transition Player of the Week" for Week 12 of the 2013 NLL season.
Hill, making his Bandits debut, scored his first career hat trick and recovered eight loose balls against the Edmonton Rush on Saturday, March 23. The Bandits acquired Hill from the Rochester Knighthawks on March 14.
The 22-year-old Six Nations, Ontario native, who made his NLL debut with the Rush in 2011 before appearing in five games for Rochester in 2012, was playing in his first game since the Knighthawks visited First Niagara Center on April 21, 2012.
Hill becomes the Bandits' third Player of the Week selection of the 2013 season, joining Anthony Cosmo (Defensive Player of the Week - Week 7) and Jay Thorimbert (Transition Player of the Week - Week 9).
The weekly player award winners are selected by a vote of the league's general managers and head coaches.
