Hiebert Autograph Signing Successful

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League would like to thank Lakeside Pharmacy for hosting an autograph session by James Hibert Wednesday night. About 100 Bucks fans and local media attended the event. Fans had a chance to get their action figure signed by Hiebert at Lakeside Pharmacy, which is located at 2337 Endeavor Drive, right behind the LEC across from Fuel Fitness.

There are a limited amount of action figures are still available at the Pharmacy. Fans can receive a FREE Hiebert action figure if they bring a prescription order to Lakeside Pharmacy, or if they have an existing prescription transferred to Lakeside Pharmacy. Otherwise the action figures will be $10, with half of all of the proceeds going to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

"I'd like to thank Lakeside Pharmacy for holding this event, and putting out the action figures", Hiebert said. "It's for a great cause, I'd like to thank the fans who bought one and for supporting JDRF".

Hiebert joins Steve Simoes and Jeff Bes as the only three Bucks players to have their own action figure.

Hiebert has played parts of five seasons in the Gateway City, and was a key part to both CHL championships in 2004 and 2006. His regular season totals in Laredo are impressive, as he has tallied 245 points (85-160=245) in 238 regular season games played (fourth all-time). Hiebert has his name in the Bucks record books several times. He is third all-time in goals (85) and assists (160), and fourth all-time in points (245). Hiebert earned the nickname "Captain Crunch" thanks to his 23 game-winning goals (18 regular season, five postseason) in a Bucks uniform.

Hiebert is known as one of the most colorful and entertaining players in the league, as he was voted third best fighter pound for pound in this seasons Best of the Best poll.
