He's Back: Tom Schreiber Returns Tonight
April 13, 2018 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Toronto Rock News Release
Oakville, ON - Toronto Rock forward Tom Schreiber will make his return to the lineup this evening against the Rochester Knighthawks at Air Canada Centre. Schreiber hasn't played since a Feb. 10 Rock win in Rochester.
There has been a lot of speculation as to just when Schreiber would be back but after practicing with the team for the second week in a row, he has received full clearance to return to action.
At the time of Schreiber's injury, he was the hands down mid-season MVP favourite. Through eight games, he scored 19 goals, 30 assists and 49 points, which equates to a 6.13 points per game average. To put things in perspective, at that pace, had Schreiber stayed healthy he would have 92 points through 15 games and sit second in NLL scoring. He would be only 2 points back of Saskatchewan's Mark Matthews who leads the league with 94 points.
Tickets are still available for tonight's game either online at torontorock.com/tickets or all day at the Air Canada Centre Box Office. Fans can also call 416-596-3075 for more information.
