
Hertzog Loan Extended with Hammerheads

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Hammerheads have officially announced that Corey Hertzog, whom has been on loan from the New York Red Bulls, will remain with the team through their championship run.
Hertzog was originally on loan to the Hammerheads until the end of June prior to returning to the Red Bulls. "This is a great opportunity for me," states Hertzog. "It's an opportunity to play more games and score more goals."
Hertzog's debut appearance with the Hammerheads was in Richmond on May 26 at City Stadium. Since then, the forward has appeared in all six Hammerheads matches to date; scoring 4 goals and contributing 2 assists.
Hertzog trails fellow Hammerheads forward Andriy Budnyy whom holds the lead scoring position with 6 goals this season.
