Huntington Heroes News Release
Huntington WV - The Huntington Heroes will join Johnstown at Musser Forests Field 7 p.m. Friday to battle the Riverhawks. This will be the second game in the American Indoor Football League for Huntington.
The Heroes started the season strong beating the Miami Valley Silverhawks at The Veterans Memorial Field House last Saturday 62 - 13. The win marked many firsts for the team, including an AIFL record of only 13 points allowed in a game. As a result of the dominating defense, James Brach and Charles Tynes were named AIFL defensive players of the week in the AIFL.
This is the home opener for the 2-0 Johnstown Riverhawks. The Riverhawks will take to the field in green jerseys in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Following the game, the Riverhawks will auction off their green game gear to fans.
The Heroes will face off against the Erie Freeze March 25 at the Veterans Memorial Field House. For further questions or ticket information contact the Huntington Heroes at (304) 781-6800.
