GRAND RAPIDS - After helping to lead the NFL's Detroit Lions to three straight playoff appearances as a player, Herman Moore will join the Grand Rapids Rampage front office staff in an effort to bring another professional football team success off the field. The four-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver, who spent last season as the Rampage's radio color commentator, will return to West Michigan's very own Arena Football League team to assist with business development.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for me and a great chance to extend what has already been a wonderful relationship," said Moore. "My goal is to start to learn the business side of professional sports while bringing the knowledge I have already gained in my other business ventures."

After a 12-year NFL career in which he set Lions records in every major receiving category, Moore returned to Detroit where he focused on several business ventures while supporting local charities and organizations. The University of Virginia graduate's contacts and experience on the east side of the state along with his deep rooted knowledge of the inner workings of professional sports are expected to bolster the Rampage's business efforts.

"Herman's business acumen coupled with his football expertise make him ideally suited to help the Rampage increase visibility and esteem across Michigan," said Rampage General Manager Scott Woodruff.
