Las Vegas, NV - After garnering national coverage in 2018 with the first Helicopter Cash Drop, Lights FC is bringing back one of the most successful promotions in its inaugural season by doubling the total prize to $10,000. Cash Drop 2.0 will happen tomorrow night at halftime of Lights FC's match against El Paso Locomotive FC, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

"Everyone who was at Cashman Field last year at the end of the inaugural Helicopter Cash Drop had a big smile on their face, had several chuckles, and had a great time. It immediately became a fan favorite event," said Lights FC Owner & C.E.O. Brett Lashbrook. "Since then we immediately started thinking 'how do we do this again and how do we do it bigger, how do we do it better?', and that's what you'll see Saturday night now that Plaza Hotel & Casino has agreed to partner with us to double the cash & prizes."

In addition to $5,000 in cash, prizes include Plaza favorites like free casino play, dinners at Oscar's Steakhouse and Pop Up Pizza. Other Lights FC partners contributing prizes to the Cash Drop are Skyline Helicopters, Boston Dental Group, Estrella Jalisco, Jarritos and LasVegasTickets.com.

"This is going to be epic, if they enjoyed Cash Drop 1.0 just wait for Helicopter Cash Drop 2.0 this Saturday night!", stated Lashbrook. "We have a whole mixture of things that will be flying out of the helicopter and making it rain. We will have $1 bills, $5 bills, $10 bills, $20 bills, even a couple of $100 bills. We'll have tons of prizes from our presenting sponsor Plaza Hotel and Casino, and there will be a multitude of Lights FC commercial partners that will be throwing prizes as well. You've got to come on down and see this in person. If it's a windy night, who knows, it may fly into the stands and you may win, too!!" Cash The Soccer Rocker will be in charge of dropping the cash and prizes from the Skyline Helicopter. There will be a total of 200 participants in the $10,000 Lights FC Cash Drop 2.0. The money will be dropped from a helicopter hovering over the center circle of the pitch during halftime.

There are several ways to earn a spot in the Cash Drop. Every fan in attendance on September 7th (ages 21 & over) will have the chance to earn one by signing up at the Cash Drop booth that will be located at the Zappos Tailgate (registration opens at 5:30 p.m.), plus Text-To-Win activations will be done inside Cashman Field both pre-game and during the first half. Every participant will need to sign a waiver.

Tickets for Saturday's match can be purchased at LightsFC.com/Tix and by calling 702-728-GOAL. The best ticket prices in town for Lights FC games can be found at every La Bonita Supermarket in the Valley.

Fans may also purchase the new La Bonita Family 4-Pack for only $44, available for all remaining Lights FC home games this season. It includes 4 midfield reserve tickets, one Lights FC youth jersey, and a La Bonita Gift Card (total value of over $150).
