
Hein, Shortridge Receive NAHL Weekly Honors

The North American Hockey League announced their Easton Divisional Stars of the Week on Monday. Receiving honors from the Aberdeen Wings were forward Ronnie Hein and goaltender Andrew Shortridge.
Wings forward #24 Ronnie Hein (F-Chelsea, MI) was named the 1st Star of the Week for the NAHL Central Division. Hein has been impressive in his first 6 games, scoring 6 goals and adding 2 assists. Hein is currently 3rd leading scorer in the NAHL this season.
Wings goaltender #35 Andrew Shortridge (G-Eagle River, AK) received an honorable mention for the NAHL Central Division after stopping 34 of 35 shots on goal in a 4-1 victory over the Brookings Blizzard. The young goaltender is currently 3-0-0 with a 1.30 goals against average and 95% save percentage. Shortridge is the 5th highest rated goaltender in the NAHL as of today.
