MIAMI, FL - The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled forward/center Jarnell Stokes from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Stokes has appeared in seven games (all starts) in two different stints with the Skyforce, helping them to a 6-1 record, while averaging 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.29 steals, 1.14 blocks and 29.0 minutes while shooting 65.9 percent from the field. He finished with the second-highest field goal percentage in the Development League while posting two double-doubles and scoring at least 20 points in four contests. Additionally, he grabbed double-figure rebounds on three occasions and blocked multiple shots three times.
Stokes will re-join Miami today and be available for the HEAT's game at Brooklyn tomorrow night.
