
Heat Face Hurricane, Saturday is Team Picture Night

Tucson, AZ - The Arizona Heat are home again this weekend to face the Southern California Hurricane at Hi Corbett Field. The four game series will begin on Thursday night and finish Sunday evening, with all games starting at 7:00 pm.
The Heat have 16 games left on the 2006 schedule and currently sit in sixth place. The team split last weeks series with the second place Connecticut Brakettes, and find themselves 4.5 games out of the playoffs. The Heat play half of the remaining 16 games at home, with the final four against the Michigan Ice (August 17-20).
The Hurricane comes to Tucson after playing in the Canada Cup a few weeks ago. Their roster brings a few familiar faces back to Tucson. Arizona Wildcats pitcher Taryne Mowatt and first baseman Sam Banister return as members of the Hurricane. The SoCal roster also boasts two 2006 NCAA All-Americans in ASU outfielder Katie Cochran and Georgia infielder Jessica Doucette.
This weekend will also feature a 2006 Arizona Heat Team Picture giveaway night. On Saturday, July 29, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Heat team photo courtesy of Premier Printing and Mailing.
The Heat will also be running a variety of other promotions.
This weekend is sponsored by University of Phoenix and Comcast.
Thursday is Blimpie's Family Night, with discount admission vouchers available for pickup.
Friday is Quik Mart Family Night, with all 28 locations having special discount coupons available.
Regular Game Day Ticket Prices: $10 Box Seats, $5 General Admission, $4 Military (with ID, Senior and Junior (Ages 6-17) Children under 5 are free
