"Heads" off to Arkansas Night with the St. Paul Saints

ST. PAUL, MN (June 25, 2010) - "A mind is a terrible thing to waste".unless, apparently, you're a security officer in Arkansas and you discover human heads on their way to a research lab in Texas.

In a dragnet not seen since the days of J. Edgar Hoover, numerous Arkansas State and County law enforcement agencies recently determined that the heads (which were being shipped by the Minnesota-based leader in medical technology, Medtronic, for purposes of research) may be part of something sinister or, shall we say, evil-minded. The Pulaski County Coroner wanted to be sure that the specimens weren't the object of an "illegal trade," removing the heads from a Southwest flight at Little Rock National Airport on June 9.

On Wednesday, June 30, the St. Paul Saints and their fans will put their heads together bring light to this mindless act.

"Our concern here in Minnesota is that this seizure was an act of misguided self-interest on the part Pulaski County law enforcement in an effort to impede important research," said Jack Weatherman, Saint Paul Saints Director of Promotions. "If another state is doing important medical research, they might fear that it could prevent Arkansas from vaulting out of the bottom 20% in education. We're asking that Arkansas please release these heads!"

Heading up the list of activities at Midway Stadium that night will be a tweak to the ever popular, "What's in the bag?" promotion as it is renamed, "What's in the box?" A prize will be awarded to the fan that does the best Brad Pitt impersonation from his role in Seven when he discovers his wife's head in the box.

It will be a little more challenging to enter the ballpark on June 30 as fans will have to get by Little Rock Airport Security Officer's checking their bags for illegal trade contraband.smart phones, books, big rocks, etc. Fans in attendance can also expect to try to wrap their brains around the conspiracy theory that this seizure is nothing more than another body blow in the fight between Arkansas-based Walmart and Minnesota-based Target. Some contestants in between-innings contests will even be given an automatic.you guessed it.head-start.

"It's a night of entertainment guaranteed to knock your.heads off," said Weatherman.
