
Hawks Tickets to go on sale

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks, the 2005 Midwest League Champions, will place individual game tickets on sale at the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium box office Saturday, March 18 at 10 AM.
Season tickets and information regarding the 2006 campaign will also be available to the public.
Last week it was announced that the South Bend Professional Baseball Club, LLC, under the leadership of former Indiana Governor and South Bend Mayor Joe Kernan, would be acquiring the Silver Hawks and the team will remain in South Bend. Last year's Midwest League champions will begin the 19th at Coveleski Stadium next month.
Over the course of the last few months there was speculation of the team moving to another Midwest city, but Kernan has stated the Silver Hawks are, "Safe at home."
The South Bend Silver Hawks open their season April 6 at Dayton before coming home to begin the 2006 home schedule on Monday, April 10 versus the West Michigan Whitecaps. Monday home games will again be Dollar Monday's at the Cove. Fans can purchase tickets, hot dogs and soda for $1.
