
Hauswirth Called to Texas Stars, Marshall Reassigned to Bees

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees announced on Thursday the forward Jake Hauswirth has been called to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League. The call-up marks the second of the season for the forward.
Hauswirth was originally assigned to the Bees by the Florida Panthers before being dealt to the Stars earlier this month. Dallas continued his assignment in the Valley before calling him to Texas. Hauswirth has six goals and seven assists for the Bees this season.
In addition the Florida Panthers organization has reassigned forward David Marshall to the Bees from the San Antonio Rampage. Marshall, who was voted as the captain of the Bees at the start of the season, has already rejoined the team.
The Bees also placed forward Reid Edmondson on the 10-Day Injured Reserve list retroactive to December 13.
The Killer Bees travel to Wichita to face the Thunder for the first time this season on Friday and Saturday night. The Bees then travel to Allen for a Sunday affair against the Americans.
