Hattley is back

Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce that Jamie Hattley is assigned to the team's 2006 roster by the arenafootball2 league.

Hattley has been with the Pioneers since 2004. Last season Hattley excelled on the defensive side of the ball when he registered 102 tackles with 89 of them unassisted. He also has two interceptions, three tackles for loss, and has broken up 24 passes. He has two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Hattley became the sixth player in af2 history to break 100 tackles in a season.

In the 2004 season Jamie had a total of 108 tackles (74 unassisted) including two for a loss. He also has six interceptions, which he returned 67 yards for one touchdown. Hattley also broke up 21 passes.

"In my opinion Jamie Hattley has been one of the premier defensive backs in all of AF2; he is exceptionally good in the red zone," said Head Coach Rich Ingold. "I look forward to his knowledge and experience to rub off on our younger players."
