Haskin Called up from Team 9

Seattle Sea Dragons News Release
SEATTLE -- Offensive tackle Brandon Haskin walked by with a wide smile across his face.
"I'm back," he said on his way to join the Dragons' offensive linemen for Wednesday's practice.
After spending a few weeks training with Team 9, the XFL's 40-player practice squad, in Arlington, Texas, Haskin was asked to rejoin the Dragons when guard Cyril Richardson was placed on injured reserve.
"It's awesome, man," Haskin said after practice Wednesday, with that smile still stretching ear-to-ear. "It feels so great to be back with the guys, back with the coaches, a great feeling."
After being selected by the Dragons on Day 2 of the XFL draft, Haskin was with the team through minicamp before being cut toward the end of training camp.
"It was really tough, just knowing that I came out here, did what I had to do, put in work," he said. "But, I know everything happens for a reason, so only time will tell."
Haskin wasn't ready to head home and wait for the next call, so he stayed in Texas with Team 9.
"I was actually on Team 9 just practicing, working out, running, staying in shape," he said. "It was a great experience, coming from here."
