Hartford Athletic News Release
Hartford Athletic has re-signed Forward Jeciel Cedeño for the 2022 season pending league and federation approval.
"I am very excited to re-sign with Hartford Athletic," said Cedeño. "I want to thank Coach Watling and the rest of the organization for giving me this opportunity. We have a great group of returning players and I can't wait to get back on the pitch with them."
Cedeño appeared in 16 matches, starting 4 and playing 426 minutes. He was invited to Hartford's 2021 preseason and signed with the club after scoring three goals in limited minutes in the preseason. "Jeciel is exactly the type of player we want here in Hartford," Head Coach Harry Watling said. "He is an incredibly hard worker, talented, and has an unmatched passion for the game. He showed us moments of brilliance last season and I hope to see more of them this year. I'm very pleased to have him back in the squad."
Hartford Athletic has now signed the following players for the 2022 season:
Forwards: Jeciel Cedeño, Juan Carlos Obregón Jr.
Midfielders: Danny Barrera, Conor McGlynn
