Hartford Athletic and WTNH News 8 Partner to Broadcast All League Matches in 2020

HARTFORD/NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Hartford Athletic and WTNH News 8, Connecticut's professional soccer team, have partnered to feature all 34 of the Club's 2020 USL Championship matches on WTNH News 8's sister station, WCTX MyTV9. As part of the agreement, all Hartford Athletic matches will also be streamed on WTNH.com.

"We are excited to team up with Hartford Athletic for its second season, building on the momentum and excitement from the first year. Soccer is a beloved sport, part of the fabric for families in local communities throughout Connecticut. The Athletic have tapped into demand for local, live professional soccer. WCTX MyTV9 will air a full schedule of games on-air and streaming on our wtnh.com website and News 8 app."

This is the second consecutive season Hartford Athletic and WTNH will partner together. Last season, 18 Hartford Athletic matches were broadcast on MyTV9, including a friendly against the Puerto Rico National Team.

Hartford Athletic's season begins on Friday March 13th at 7 PM against New York Red Bulls II. March 21st will mark the home opener for Athletic, who take on Charleston Battery at 4 PM at Dillon Stadium. For more information and a complete schedule go to hartfordathletic.com.
