
Harrington commits to Dartmouth

Sioux Falls, SD-- The Sioux Falls Stampede announced today that forward, Brandon Harrington has committed to Dartmouth College for the 2005-06 season.
A native of Rochester, MN, Harrington is in his second season with the Stampede and has tallied four goals in his first 11 games this year. Last season, Harrington posted 10 points (8g, 2a) in 59 games with the Herd.
Dartmouth College is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and are currently 1-1-0 on the season. Last year, Dartmouth posted a 14-11-9 record and reached the ECAC semi-finals. Bob Gaudet is the Head Coach of Dartmouth where he has led the Big Green to four straight winning seasons.
"Dartmouth College is a great on-ice and academic fit for Brandon," stated Stampede Head Coach Mark Kaufman. "He has worked extremely hard on the ice and in the classroom. To be accepted to a prestigious school like Dartmouth speaks volume of his talents academically."
Harrington will become the second Stampede player to play for Dartmouth, Eric Przepiorka is currently in his junior season with the Big Green.
Harrington and the Stampede travel to Iowa this weekend for a pair of games against East Division opponents. On Friday, the Herd will be in Des Moines to face the Buccaneers and on Saturday they travel to Waterloo to challenge the Black Hawks. Game times are 7:35 PM Friday and 7:05 PM Saturday. Both games can be heard on Talk Radio 1320-AM KELO.
