HarbourCats Team up with Royals'sister Company for Ticketing

VICTORIA, B.C. - The top two sports franchises in Victoria are now using the same platform on the most important aspect of operating events -- ticketing.

The Victoria HarbourCats are pleased to announce today a multi-year agreement to have ticketing services supplied by Select Your Tickets, which is operated by the GSL Group. Select Your Tickets is the provider of tickets to the Victoria Royals and Kelowna Rockets, along with countless music and concert events that take place at the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, Prospera Place in Kelowna, and other venues.

"This is an exciting step forward for us, and one that makes sense with how similar our businesses are, and our proximity to each other in what we call 'Victoria's Stadium District,'" said Jim Swanson, Managing Partner and GM of the HarbourCats.

"What the Royals are to Victoria in the winter, the HarbourCats are to Victoria in the summer...the go-to sports event in the city, and it is a natural fit for us to work together in this important area."

"People who are very familiar with the Select Your Tickets process for concerts or hockey, including the recent World Juniors and the Vancouver Canucks camp, will soon find HarbourCats tickets through the Select Your Tickets website, or link through from our website at harbourcats.com. With our 2020 schedule already revealed, our loyal fans and any new fans will be able to buy season tickets, flex-packs, other ticket packages, and single-game seats through our office, or on-line."

Single-game tickets for the 2020 HarbourCats season can be purchased starting MONDAY, November 18, 2019, 10:00AM at the HarbourCats offices at 1814 Vancouver Street, or at the Select Your Tickets Box Office at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre. Season tickets and 10-game flex passes will also be available at the HarbourCats offices. On-line sales for the 2020 season are not yet available, but will be announced shortly.

The Royals are in their eighth Western Hockey League season in Victoria, playing 34 home games. The HarbourCats will be in their eighth West Coast League season in 2020, and have 32 home dates planned for the coming summer.
