The Soo Eagles look to continue their momentum, after last weekend's sweep in Flint, and will host the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. b&idc138741d41&eb1618838d6) and Saturday at 7 p.m. ab&id44627edc7d&eb1618838d6) at Pullar Stadium. If you can't make it to the game, you can catch all the action, live or on demand on Fast Hockey.
Friday night is Halloween, and make sure you come to the rink in your costume, as during the first intermission, the Soo Eagles will be holding their annual Halloween Costume Contest, where the best of the best will be judged. Friday night there will also be a "Skate With the Eagles" after the game.
Saturday night will be "Local Hero's Night" where the Soo Eagles will be honoring local law enforcement officials, and first responders. Chippewa County Undersheriff, Mike Bitner, will be dropping the ceremonial first puck.
The Eagles are currently in second place in the North Division (9-7-0) with 18 points, one point behind first place Janesville. Johnstown is in fifth place in the North Division (5-6-0) with 10 points.
The Eagles are led in scoring by Sandis Zolmanis, who has six goals and 11 assists this season. Bruno Birzitis has four goals and 11 assists, while Trevor Cope has scored 10 goals and earned four assists.
The Tomahawks are led in scoring by Andrew Romano, who has four goals and six assists on the season. Cam Bleck has six goals and two assists, while Alex Jaeckle has scored two goals and earned six assists.
Soo Eagles goaltender, Jack Berry, is 5-2-0 on the season, with a goals against average of 2.78 and a save percentage of .899. Sean Keating is 4-5-0 with a GAA of 2.75 and a SV% of .901.
Johnstown net minder, Ryan Bednard, is 3-4-0 on the season, with a goals against average of 3.54 and a save percentage of .869. Andy Lee has yet to see any action during the 2014-15 season.
These teams will meet 10 more times this season, including November 14, in Johnstown. Their next series at the Pullar will be on November 22-23.
