
Hammond Heroes Announce Open Tryout

Hammond Heroes News Release
The Hammond Heroes will be holding open tryouts Saturday, January 7, 2006, 8:00 AM.
Its a professional football league that pays $200 a game. Players will be tested and evaluated on the following: forty yard dash, fifteen yard pro shuttle, standing broad jump, footwork and agility drills, one on one drills and teams.
Registration is at 8:00 AM at Southeastern University at the rugby field next to Cefalu stadium. Players will need loose clothing and cleats for grass surface.
"We area honored to have an arena based sporting event in the community of Hammond". The Hammond Heroes are owned and operated by Tommy Smith. The team will be scheduled to kickoff their season in mid March. The Heroes are a new expansion team seeking coaching staff and players at all intern level prospects. We are looking for athletes with great attitudes and specifics skills for our team. This is a great opportunity for players to further their football careers as will as advancement opportunities.
