Alabama Hammers News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL. - The Alabama Hammers will face off against the Albany Panthers this Saturday at Phoebe Field in Week 7 action of the Professional Indoor Football League.
The Hammers (2-3), fresh off of a 62-25 thrashing of the Knoxville Nighthawks, come in having won two out of their past three games and are looking to take down the league's last remaining undefeated team.

If the Hammers are to win, Nelson will have to stay hot as the Panthers have one of the top ranked defenses in the league. They ranked second in total defense, giving up 226.4 yards per game and lead the league by giving up just 182.8 yards passing per game and allow a league best 34.2 points per game.
Quarterback Cecil Lester averages 198 yards passing per game and has thrown 21 touchdowns to just six interceptions on the season. Defensively, Corey Rue and Damian Daniels are tied for the league lead with 5.1 tackles per game.
