
Hammers Face New Opponent Vs. Erie Explosion In Game 10

The Alabama Hammers travel to Erie, PA for game 10 of the 2015 Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) this Saturday, June 6 against the Erie Explosion with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CDT.
The Hammers (3-6) go into the matchup against the Explosion (1-7) for the first meeting between the two teams, which sit at the bottom of the PIFL standings. Alabama goes into the game from a 49-15 loss to the Trenton Freedom scoring just six points in the first half. The Explosion were crushed by the league's top team, Columbus Lions, last week 81-26 and sit at the bottom of league standings while the Hammers are just two games above the last place Explosion.
Alabama leads the PIFL in passing offense (278-yards per game) including 45 touchdowns. The Hammers are No. 2 in total offense with 288-yards per outing. The Explosion are last in both total offense (221 y/p/g) and passing offense (195 y/p/g) and 31 TDs.
The game can be heard on the Hammers Radio Network including WAFN-FM, 92.7 Fun Radio-Arab, WZZN-FM, 97.7 The Zone-Huntsville and WWIC-AM, 1050-Scottsboro. Michael St. John and Steve Moulton will call the action.
