HUNTSVILLE - The Alabama Hammers and the Rocket City's sports authority are teaming up again.
The Hammers announced Tuesday that all six of their home games and any playoff games will be broadcast on 97.7 FM The Zone. Veteran announcer Steve Moulton will prov ide the play-by-play action from the newly-renovated Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center.
"We are very proud to have 97.7 FM as our broadcast partner,'' Hammers team president Joe Stroud said. "The Zone is truly the only real local sports talk radio station in Huntsville."
The Hammers open training camp Feb. 24 and kick off the 2012 Professional Indoor Football League season March 17 in Lake Charles against the Louisiana Swashbucklers.
Alabama's first home game is March 24 with a 7 p.m. kick versus the Columbus Lions at the VBC. Season tickets are available by calling 256-551-2222 or visit alabamahammers.com.
