Hammerheads, Eagles Rescheduled Once Again for August19

August 18, 2012 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Wilmington Hammerheads FC News Release

Wilmington, NC - The third time is a charm for the Wilmington Hammerheads and the Charlotte Eagles as their attempt to play the rescheduled July match this past Friday was cancelled yet again due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions.

The Hammerheads will hit the road once more on Sunday, August 19 to take on the Eagles at Manchester Meadows Park in Rock Hill, SC, just south of Charlotte. With playoffs right around the corner, the decision to reschedule this match had to be made quickly to ensure the outcome will allow time for travel depending on the playoff bracket.

The Hammerheads will face the Eagles tonight at Legion Stadium for their final home game as they look to wrap up and conclude an undefeated streak on their home turf for the regular season. The match at Manchester Meadows on Sunday will conclude both teams' 2012 regular season and determine their final ranking in the USL PRO standings.
