HUNTSVILLE, AL - Tennessee Valley Vipers head coach, Kevin Guy, announced today that former Alabama A&M wide receiver, Kenyon Hambrick, has joined the team.

Hambrick played at Alabama A&M in 1999 and 2000 after an all-star career at J.O. Johnson High School. He played in 22 games for the Bulldogs and caught 102 passes for 1,420 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also returned 42 punts for 260 yards and 39 kickoffs for 903 yards and one touchdown. Alabama A&M advanced to the SWAC Championship Game in 2000.

He signed a free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens and spent the 2001 and 2002 seasons as a member of the practice squad. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams and was released a couple of weeks ago.

To make room for Hambrick, the Vipers released defensive specialist, Rob Green.
