Gwizzlies Southeast Asia contact agent Kevin Seo of South Korea, who also has been the catalyst in the representation, contract negotiations, and future arrival date for Bang Sung Yoon will be be asked to use his services again.
NBA free agent Mengke Bateer 6"11 has returned to China for the Chinese Olympic summer games, but has expressed strong interest of returning to the NBA for 2004-05 season.
Bang Sung Yoon will not join the team until Febuary 2005, we just recently found out and the Gwizzlies feel that Mengke Bateer is just what the organization needs going into October training camp.
The Gwizzlies will advise agent Kevin Seo to put an offer on the table to sign Mengke Bateer and will have an invite for Bateer to play on the Gwizzlies Summer Pro league team in Long Beach in July.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
