
Gwizzlies ink lease with Life University

"The American Basketball Association Gwinnett Gwizzlies' signed a venue lease with Life University on Friday, August 13th", says team owner, Embry Malone.
The Gwizzlies, based out of Atlanta, Georgia, is one of thirty new American Basketball Association expansion teams expected to begin regular season play in November, 2004. All home games for the Gwizzlies will be played out of Life University for this inaugural season. Ticket prices will be $5.00 kids 12 and under, $8.00 general admission and $15.00 premium seating. Season tickets will also be sold prior to the season.
In addition to the 17 home games at Life University, the team is in negotiations to play a game during Martin Luther King week at the Gwinnett Arena.
"We are currently seeking talented local entertainers interested in performing during halftime at these home games. In addition, we will be conducting tryouts for our halftime dancers, The SugarBears, in late September or early October," said Malone.
