Rome, GA - Rome fans have a chance at history Friday night when the Braves take on the Charleston RiverDogs at 7pm with all fans attending the game receiving whistles. During a specified time, fans along with players and coaches will blow their whistles hoping to enter the record books as the largest number of people to blow whistles simultaneously. All fans will be asked to register before the event to ensure an accurate count of participants. Pictures and video will be sent to the Guinness Book of World Records along with fan registration in hopes of inclusion in their famous publication.
Rome begins a four game home stand against the Charleston RiverDogs on Thursday. For ticket information call 706-378-5144 or fans can purchase tickets online at www.romebraves.com.
Thursday - 2 for 1 Beverages
Friday - "Whistle Blowing" Guinness Book Of World Records Attempt. Braves fans will attempt to set a record for the largest crowd blowing whistles simultaneously. It' is the first such try in Rome, GA.
Saturday - Brian McCann Bobble Head Dolls giveaway to first 1000 fans with paid admission.
Sunday - 2pm Game.
