Guillaume Asselin, Jean-Philippe Mathieu and Evan Mosher are the TELUS three stars of the month

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today unveiled the TELUS three stars of the month for February.

Chicoutimi Saguenéens forward Guillaume Asselin is the first star after an exceptional month in which he scored eight goals and added thirteen assists for a total of twenty-one points in eleven games. Moreover, he posted an excellent +11 rating. Of note, Asselin collected at least two points in all but one game.

Drummondville Voltigeurs defenseman Jean-Philippe Mathieu is the second star after scoring four goals and adding eight helpers for a total of twelve points in ten games. Furthermore, the young blue-liner posted a +8 rating. Mathieu has played a key role in the Voltigeurs' current seven-game winning streak.

P.E.I. Rocket goaltender Evan Mosher is the third star after posting a 5-2 record in his seven starts. He blocked 242 of the 260 shots he faced, maintaining a 2.28 goals-against-average and .931 save percentage. The Rocket has recorded points in seven of their last ten games.
