The Griffin Warriors have completed the following transactions from 4/12/06 through 4/14/06...
Traded rights to Erick Gainous (6'3''-G-79) to Anderson Heat for future consideration; Traded rights to Johnnie Parker (6'8''-F-78, agency: EM-PA, college: Missouri) to Gainesville Knights for future consideration;
Released the following players... Derrick Franklin (6'10''-C, college: Columbus St.), Kerry Augustus (6'8" PF Towson St.), Timothy Green (6'1" SG); Gary Stewart (6'5" SF Motlow State); Justin Simmons (5'9" PG Florida Merc.); Jonathan Small (6'1''-G, college: Holmes CC); Erik Underwood (6'2" SG - Morris Brown)
The Warriors also released Dion Sherrell (6'5''-G-83; Wyoming), due to injury.
The Warriors, a new WBA franchise, have now trimmed their roster down to 13 players and will open its season on Friday April 21st at the Gainesville Knights.
