
Gregg MacDonald Joins Wings As Assistant Coach

Gregg MacDonald has been named as Assistant Coach of the Philadelphia Wings indoor lacrosse team, it was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson. MacDonald will be responsible for coaching the Wings' defense and coordinating ground ball teams.
"I'm very excited to have Gregg join me behind the bench this season," said Sanderson. "He has coached with me at the Jr. A level in Ontario for the last eight years and I know that his coaching style will complement this Wings team."
MacDonald served an Assistant Coach for the National Lacrosse League's Ottawa Rebel under Sanderson during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He currently serves as the Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach for the Orangeville Jr. A Lacrosse Club. The Ontario native played 13 years of professional lacrosse in Canada.
