Greenville's Martin Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Equipment Manager of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Ryan Martin of the Greenville Road Warriors is the 2011-12 recipient of the ECHL Equipment Manager of the Year Award, presented by Reebok Hockey .
The winner is determined in a vote of the league's equipment managers and athletic trainers. Reebok recognizes the efforts and accomplishments of ECHL equipment managers and will award Martin a pair of custom Reebok ZigTech shoes in honor of his achievement.
Martin completed his second season with the Road Warriors after serving as the assistant equipment manager for three seasons with the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Prior to Houston, Ryan spent the 2006-07 season with the ECHL's Dayton Bombers, volunteering as the assistant equipment manager. The Cincinnati native started working in pro hockey in 2003 with the AHL's Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
