EXPO CENTER NEWS

The Birch Run Expo Center is underway in an exciting fall schedule! In addition to our scheduled events we have also completed two major projects to our building; 1) 400 additional asphalted parking spaces for a total of 1,100 parking spaces, and 2) Acoustical baffles to equip our arena to host concerts and other musical events. We are excited for our 1st concert, Blues Festival Pt. IV on November 9th featuring nationally known artists such as Willie Clayton, Denise LaSalle and J. Blackfoot! EXTENDED FORECAST

Training Camp is in full swing! The players began on Oct. 29 and practice daily at the Center Courts facility in Saginaw MI. Fans are encouraged to attend any practices. On Nov. 8th, the team will be headed to Fremont, MI for an Intra squad scrimmage at Fremont Middle School. On November 10, they will be in Rockford, IL for a Scrimmage against the Rockford Lightning. Then back in camp on the 11th. The final roster will be decided on November 12 and the team will begin the season at home on Nov. 14th against the Gary Steelheads.

IN THE COMMUNTIY

Oct. Recap: Brian Lubeck and Assistant Coach Tyson were at the Birch Run Expo Center shooting around with the kids at the Kids Zone Expo on Oct. 4th. On Oct. 8th, the Storm and the Birch Run Expo Center hosted the Business After Hours Open House with the Birch Run Chamber and Frankenmuth Chamber. The Storm had several players and the Coaching Staff on site signing autographs and shooting around on the Storm court with the fans. In Nov., look for the Storm in Fremont, MI on Nov. 8th for an intra squad scrimmage and in Rockford, IL on Nov. 10th for a scrimmage against the Rockford Lightning. Also, three home games played at the Birch Run Expo Center in November!
