Grady Voted Week 19 National Guard MVP

CHICAGO - Utah Blaze QB TOMMY GRADY has been named National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 19 of the AFL season, as voted on by fans.

Grady (6-7, 250, Utah) tied the AFL single-game record for passing touchdowns with 12 in Utah's 83-63 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators on NFL Network's broadcast of "NET10 Arena Football Friday". It was Grady's third game this season in which he passed for double-digit touchdowns, making him the first quarterback in AFL history to record the feat.

Other candidates for the award included Tampa Bay Storm QB Stephen Wasil and Chicago Rush WR Reggie Gray.

The Blaze (12-5) play the Philadelphia Soul (14-3) in the final game of the 2012 regular season on Sunday, July 22. The game can be seen on Ustream's "AFL Live" Viewer. Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. ET.
