Gladiators Unveil 10th Anniversary Commemorative Logos

Atlanta's only professional hockey team, the Gwinnett Gladiators, will celebrate "A Decade of Excellence and Achievement" throughout the upcoming 2012-2013 season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center as members of the ECHL, the nation's primary AA-designation professional hockey league. The proud Gladiators legacy has included securing a playoff berth in 7 of 9 seasons, including an appearance in the 2006 ECHL Kelly Cup Finals. The team unveiled its special commemorative 10th Anniversary Logos which will appear on player jerseys and official team merchandise, team advertising/marketing materials, and in various digital media platforms throughout the upcoming season.

The Gladiators primary 10th Anniversary Season Logo is a stylized number ten with the distinctive Gladiators head profile logo incorporated into the zero. It also features roman numerals along the side denoting the years of operation, 2003 to 2013. The Gladiators will also utilize a secondary logo that features a roman numeral "X" incorporating the classic "G" shield/sword logo version and stylized banner indicating the team's tenure.

The Gladiators will honor and highlight the achievements of the organization over the previous nine years during the two-game 10th Anniversary Opening Weekend Celebration, including last season's South Division Championship with a banner raising ceremony on Opening Night, Friday, Oct. 19th, and a special tribute presentation to all 10-year season ticketholders on Saturday, Oct. 20th. And while the team celebrates its 10th anniversary, the ECHL will be observing its 25th.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Nation's Premier "AA" Hockey League. All home games are played at the spectacular 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, where parking is always free.
