Cleveland Gladiators News Release

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Gladiators, presented by Unique Home Solutions, announced today that running back Isaiah Gullick of Mentor High School and quarterback Trey Bialowas of Westlake High School have been named the Week 1 and 2 High School Impact Players of the Week, respectively, for their standout performances on the field.

Gullick, making his first career start at running back, rushed the ball twenty times for 238 yards and four touchdowns while also catching a pass and scampering 18 yards for another score. The senior's five total touchdowns helped guide the Mentor Cardinals to a season-opening 57-31 home win over the Massillon Tigers on August 26th.

Bialowas accounted for five touchdowns (three passing and two rushing) this past Friday, including a 20-yard game-winning touchdown pass with two seconds remaining to give the Westlake Demons a 34-31 road victory in over the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs.

For winning, each player will receive a plaque recognizing their accomplishments, an appearance in-game at a 2017 Cleveland Gladiators home game, a visit at practice by Gladiators defensive backs coach Dominic Jones, as well as a $500 grant to each player's high school football program.
