June 10, 2022 - United Soccer League One (USL1)
FC Tucson News Release
The soccer community continues to grow in Southern Arizona with the opening of two regulation-size soccer fields at Gladden Farms in Marana.
FC Tucson and one of the team's exclusive community partners, Gladden Farms, celebrated the occasion Friday morning with a public ribbon-cutting done by Marana Mayor Ed Honea.
Gladden Farms will host three FC Tucson Soccer clinics at the new fields. FC Tucson will provide coaches, equipment and instruction from select FC Tucson players. The cost of registration for up to 100 players per clinic, for a total of 300 paid registrations, will be covered by Gladden Farms. Each of these players will also receive an FC Tucson match ticket as a gift.
The ribbon-cutting celebration continued throughout the morning with sports and family activities, games, food and refreshments, and giveaways including 100 match tickets to the FC Tucson match on Saturday, July 23, which Gladden Farms is the presenting sponsor of.
FC Tucson and Gladden Farms look forward to bringing the beautiful game to youth across Southern Arizona throughout the year.
