Giveaways on Tap for Pair of Weekend Stars Games

SAN ANTONIO (June 18, 2015) - Fans can win big at a pair of San Antonio Stars games this weekend as the team lauds the city's heritage during Friday's 210 Night and celebrates Father's Day at Saturday's Dads & Daughters Game presented by Smile Kings Dental & Orthodontics.

The first 2,000 fans to the Freeman Coliseum for Friday night's contest against the Minnesota Lynx will receive a 210 Night t-shirt displaying San Antonio's area code blended with the iconic Tower of the Americas from the city's skyline, and the first 600 fans will also get a commemorative tumbler from Church Unlimited. The game, which takes place at 7 p.m. on Juneteenth, will celebrate the history and heritage of South Texas. Fans are encouraged to use the hash tag #CelebrateSA on social media.

Dads will have the chance to get a head start on Father's Day during the Dads & Daughters Game, presented by Smile Kings, vs. the Chicago Sky. Four dads will be selected at the game to pair up with a daughter or son and compete in a series of field day activities to win an oral care gift basket, including a free teeth whitening, from Smile Kings. In addition, all San Antonio Stars fans can get 50 percent off of braces at Smile Kings by mentioning the Stars during a consultation. The Dads & Daughters Game is part of the annual WNBA Dads & Daughters Week, June 15-21, which celebrates the bonds forged between fathers and daughters through the game of basketball. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
