
Ghosts to hold Free Exhibition Game

Casper- The Casper Ghosts, an advanced rookie league team of the Colorado Rockies, have announced they will hold a free exhibition game on Tuesday June 16th at 1pm. This will be the fans first chance to get a look at this year's team. This free event is open to all. The game will be held at Mike Lansing Field in Casper. The Ghosts will be taking on the Cheyenne Grizzlies of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League. The MCBL is a wooden bat league featuring college players from across the country. This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
The game will be the middle event in a day that features several great baseball activities for the fans to enjoy. The morning will kick off with an open tryout for the Colorado Rockies. Over 60 participants from all over the region will display their talents in front of the Rockies scouting department. The tryout list is currently full but any fans who wish to join the waiting list may come down to the Hilton Garden Inn Casper Ticket Center at 8am that morning and join the wait list.
The final event of the day will be a game featuring Casper Legion Baseball versus Rapid City.
The Casper Ghosts home opener will be June 30th at 7:05pm at Mike Lansing Field.
