Casper- The Casper Ghosts are pleased to announce that the winner of their 10th Anniversary Logo Contest is Boyd Erickson of Bozeman, MT. Mr. Erickson's design was selected from over more than 100 other entries that came in from all over the country. The logo will be used on various Casper Ghosts marketing items as well as merchandise during the upcoming season.
"We are thrilled the Ghosts selected our logo and we can't wait to come down for opening day next year and see how it looks" Mr. Erickson said in a phone statement Saturday night. Boyd and his wife Nikki are avid baseball fans and started a graphics design company called Tumbleweed Graphics in 2009.
The Erickson's will receive two season tickets to the Ghosts, they will throw out the first pitch on Opening Day 2010, and have an article in the Ghosts program about their design. The Erickson's have generously decided to donate the season tickets to Casper Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
The runner up was 13 year old David Kerr of Casper whose design incorporated both the Casper Ghosts logo as well as the original Casper Rockies logo from 2001.
