Casper Ghosts News Release
The Casper Ghosts return home on Wednesday July 16th to open up a seven game home stand that could help decide the first half winner in the Pioneer leagues southern division. The Ghosts begin with three games against the last place Missoula Osprey and then four games against the Helena Brewers. The Ghosts are currently two and a half games back in the south from the Orem Owlz and have a chance to win the first half for the first time in franchise history!
On July 17th the Ghosts and The New Belgian Brewing company celebrate "Rocktoberfest" Come down to Mike Lansing Field and enjoy great Thirsty Thursday prices on delicious New Belgian Brewing products. There will be a "Rockband" video game contest all game long as well as great music and a bring down the hammer air guitar contest on field. Don't miss the party! Gates open at 6:15pm.
On July 18th the Casper Ghosts will honor one of our own on "Tim Ray Night" Tim Ray the longtime voice of the franchise will be on hand to throw out the first pitch and the first 1000 fans through the gates will get a Tim Ray Bobblebelly doll courtesy of Josh Kalinowski and Broker One. Come down and help honor local legend Tim Ray and get a unique souvenir for your collection
On July 19th Casper's second favorite mascot returns to town. It's the Famous San Diego Chicken clucking his way back to Lansing Field. Join us for all the fun and mayhem as the Chicken brings his unique brand of baseball fanaticism home to us this Saturday night
The Ghosts are doing great this season and it's the hometown fans that can put us over the top. Show that Casper spirit and come cheer on our Ghosts July 16th through the 22nd and.............LET"S GO GHOSTS!
