Ghosts hold ticket prices for fifth straight year

Casper-The Casper Ghosts have announced that they will be holding individual ticket prices for the fifth straight year.

"We are pleased to be able to show our fans how much we appreciate their continued support" Ghosts' General Manager Mike Sandler remarked. "Everyone is very aware of the economy and that gloom and doom forecasts on the news. We have always strived to be the best family entertainment value in town. This year we have Casper Star Tribune Family days on Sunday, 25 cent Hotdog Mondays and lot's of added value nights for our fans." Sandler continued

"Minor League Baseball continues to lead the way in providing affordable family entertainment to sports fans," stated Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner. "As families seek out entertainment alternatives in these tough times, they need look no further than their hometown Minor League Baseball team. We are proud of our ability to serve our fans with reasonable pricing and great value in difficult economic times like these."

The average cost of an enjoyable night at a Minor League ballpark ranges from $61.79 for a Triple-A game to $47.20 for a Short-Season-A/Rookie one. The Double-A ($54.26) and Class A ($55.06) classifications are within 55 cents of the industry average.
