Ghosts announce new merchandise website

December 18, 2008 - Pioneer League (PL)
Casper Ghosts News Release

The Casper Ghosts, an Advanced Rookie level affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, is proud to announce the launching of their new merchandise website - casperghostsgear.com. The website will work in conjunction with the Ghosts main site ghostsbaseball.com. While the main site will continue to focus on news, player stats, schedules, and ballpark information the new site will allow fans from all corners of the globe to order the Ghosts wide array of merchandise.

The Casper Ghosts, formerly the Casper Rockies, changed their name and logo in 2007 to broaden their appeal to a larger fan base. The results even exceeded Ghosts CEO Kevin Haughian's wildest expectations.

"The response has been overwhelming." Haughian remarked "We saw an increase in sales of more than six times the previous year. We have now filled orders for every state and over 14 countries"

One of the reasons for the tremendous interest is the Ghosts unique new logo and player cap. The cap, developed by Plan B Branding is the first cap in professional baseball history to feature a Glow-In-The-Dark logo. The Casper Ghosts were awarded best makeover in 2008 by Baseball America and Best New Cap Design by August Publications and Ballparkdigest.com.

The new website will feature not just the Ghosts entire catalog of merchandise items but fan polls and even an online auction. The site's slick new look was designed by Infinity Pro Sports.

" Infinity Pro sports is one of the premier web designers in our industry" Haughian continued " We are so excited to begin this partnership with them and the ability to have an auction area for game used jersey's and other items is a huge plus for our fans"
