Ghosts and Western Medical Teaming Up to Better Casper

Casper, Wyoming- The Casper Ghosts Professional Baseball Club in partnership with Western Medical Associates announce an exciting promotion as its way to give back to the Casper community. During the 2008 season the Ghosts and Western Medical will be selling orange wristbands with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit a local Non-Profit. With the purchase of one of these wristbands any person wearing one to any Monday game (Western Medical Monday's) will receive $2 admission throughout the 2008 season baseball season.
For 2008, Western Medical has chosen the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra as the organization it will benefit. "We believe in giving back to the community and the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra is certainly worthy of this donation," said Rick Blauvelt CEO of Western Medical Associates.
The Ghosts Front Office originally thought of this idea while trying to come up with ways to give back to the community. "It is part of our mission within the Ghosts organization to help make the community a better place than it was before we came to town, and with the help of Western Medical, we are making an impact," said Matt Warneke, General Manager of the Casper Ghosts. "With the support of our community partners we strive not only to provide the best entertainment possible, but also to better other organizations throughout Natrona County."
These orange wristbands can be purchased for $1 at one of three locations, the Casper Ghosts Front Office at 330 Kati Lane, Western Medical Associates at 6500 E. 2nd Street, or the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra at 130 W. 2nd Street.
The Ghosts kick off the 2008 campaign on Friday, June 20th against the Idaho Falls Chukars. So come and enjoy a summer of memories and laughter at Mike Lansing Field.
