
Georgia Gwizzlies Schedule Pre-season Exhibition Games

Macon, GA. The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies will play two Middle Georgia teams during its pre-season exhibition games. On Monday, November 12th at 715pm, the Gwizzlies will go on the road and play Ft. Valley State University, a historical black college at their campus.
The next evening, Tuesday, November 13th at 715pm, the team will travel to Robins US Air Force Base to play. "The Gwizzlies organization outreach to the military community and Middle Georgians has been very successful," stated team owner Embry Malone. "Ted Albers, a Gwizzlies boardmember, is a retired distingushed US Air Force officer and professor of Math and Physics. Tyler Pina, a 6'8 forward on our team is just returning from active duty deployment and will join the team on November 7th Media Day/Opening Trianing Camp."
The Gwizzlies GM, legendary coach Don Richardson, is from Macon; James Smith and John Bailey, Gwizzlies management and part-owners are from Macon also. Mike Davis, a 6'7 leaping phenom, is a recent grade of Fort Valley State University. Macon resident Yvonne Johnson is the organization manager for the Gwizzlies Sugar Bears Dance Team.
